I've reached that age of the shingles vax but admittedly am worried about the side effects. Please share your experience.

I had shingles a couple years ago. shite sucks. I don’t recommend it.

You’d have to be a fool to get anything called a vaccine being peddled by big pharma.

Presumably, you weren't vaccinated? I've heard stories of the vaccinated still experiencing shingles.

I've had two injections and so has my wife. I got it on a Friday, fully expecting a reaction. I had flu like symptoms both times, lasted a couple of days, back to work on Monday. My wife had no reactin at all.

Got the first one about two weeks ago. Nothing but slight soreness at the injection site. Will get the second one after the first of the year.

I wouldn’t trust BigPharma. Those frickers will roofy you with mRNA.

I have worked in the medical field for 28 years. I would not get another injection period.

This is good advice (even if slightly self-contradictory).

Never heard of anyone dying from the Shingles vax. The option is to potentially get shingles. I know people who have, it's brutal. I took my chances. Been a couple of years - nothing besides the initial flu like reaction to report.

Anyone comparing shingles vax to Covid “vaccine” is an idiot. Get the shingles vaccine, you don’t want shingles. All of the issues with the Covid vaccine aren’t comparable to the shingles vaccine

My advice, get it before they come out with this mRNA variant.

CRV-101 was specifically designed to produce an optimal immune response while using a smaller amount of adjuvant but with fewer side effects than the currently-approved shingles vaccine. Pfizer and BioNTech are developing an mRNA vaccine for shingles.

What happens if you get shingles but have not been vaccinated?
What is shingles like for people who get it after having been vaccinated against it?
Do you know anyone who has had either experience?
Do people develop immunity to shingles after acquiring it whether having been vaccinated or not?
Seems like comparing peoples’ experiences with shingles having been vaccinated and having not been vaccinated would help you make a decision about what is best for you.
Obviously everyone has a unique medical history to consider regarding potential treatments.
Just trying to help brainstorm ways to investigate the risks and benefits.
Best of luck to you.

I'll get the shingles vaccine right after I take the automobile crash vaccine.

My sister is an RN in cardiology. My nephew is 4 & had all his scheduled vaccines (def not the covid shot) but my sister hasn’t vaccinated my 2 month old niece bc she no longer trusts her own industry to not attempt slipping the mRNA into any of the scheduled vaccines.
In addition to that worry, she has regrets about all the vaccines my little nephew got bc she realizes it’s way too many at one time and so many different shots in the first year or two alone.
Scary that SIDS wasn’t a thing until they started pushing these heavy vaccine schedules and SADS wasn’t a thing until they pushed the social experiment injection.
I have zero trust in the medical industry.. in fact, I’m highly suspicious of anything they say now.

first shot minimal soreness at point of injection, second shot felt like I had the flu starting 24 hours afterwards for a full day.
But you don't want Shingles. Thats bad stuff.

I was sick with flu like symptoms for one day after each shot. Pain in the arse but better than the shingles, which is infectious and can cause permanent problems.

I'm due for mine and will get it.
