I mean, they are sort of the original poster children for the meaninglessness of it. We've only more recently gotten onboard.

"People's democratic dictatorship" is one of those relative democratic things.

So is "Democratic People’s Republic"

They'll tell you they have a democracy.

I would suggest that their forms of “democracy” make the term itself being applied to their systems quite laughable.
