They should make him carry the ball all week on campus like the movie "The Program"

Move him to LB or revoke his scholarship after the season. He CAN’T hold onto the ball. I’m not blaming him; he just can’t.

He's going to continue to get touches out of necessity / lack of depth. I don't think he will get them in big-time moments, though.

Edit: Just quit running him between the tackles. Give it to him in space and tell his arse get out of bounds. He is electric but damn it is frustrating.

Take a full practice or two, rip and punch at the ball until you feel he can be trusted. It seems he doesn’t have the natural tendency to protect the ball.

If it doesn’t pour rain again, just keep giving him carries. Maybe give him more throws out of the backfield

Loads and loads of super glue. Enough to cause a delay of game because he can't get the ball to the ref.

FWIW, it was cold and rainy last Saturday. Emery wasn't the only one who had trouble with the slippery ball. Daniels had some trouble as did a few receivers...

It is who he is. His upper body and hand strength is not close to sufficient. Needs strength training and he could just have tiny hands.
