Jameis is a shite person that plays the game like shite and has a shite IQ. I’m not sure he has any redeeming qualities except he says goofy shite sometimes

I was unaware of such a policy.

With that said, he needs to be the starter if he is healthy

Sorry but it was your pocket composure breakdown waiting on the long ball instead of checking down and keeping the offense on the field. That's why I liked it so much when you were with the Bucs. You do have your moments though. There were a few drives you handled brilliantly. But here it is..."It's not all about you"... So if you're going to revert back to being a punk about it... take it elsewhere.

Only policy I’ve ever seen surrounding injuries is “in the league the best ability is availability.” I am not quick to say he’s injury prone, but he missed the back half of last season w a knee injury. Starting missing games due to a back injury. Then somewhere a foot/ankle injury popped up.

All I know is that from where I was in the stands for the Carolina game, Winston made about 2-3 throws that actually looked pro-grade. Arm strength is a great attribute, but I guess I was spoiled by #9 with more accuracy than anything else.

Just a disclaimer, I'm not a big Dalton lover, either. I'm just saying that maybe he's got a little more finesse to him than Winston does.

Winston has always been a bitch.

Hated his rapey arse in College, hated his rapey arse in Tampa.

Can't wait til he and his racist fans are gone....

Why is this news from last week coming back as if it’s new?

Because you idiots need to be reminded what a shitty human being Jameis Winston is.

He's the same POS, he's just wearing a different uniform.

That clear enough?

Don't worry, Jameis. You're probably on the trade/cut block like everybody else is on this roster after the season. Maybe you'll land on a practice squad somewhere.

Loomis creativity strikes again. Winston has a cp hit of $15.6M next year, and if they cut him his cap hit will be $11.2M because there are 3 voidable years on his contract. No one will trade for his contract because he hasn't shown he's worth the $12.8M 2023 salary

Best case scenario (for 2023 cap reasons), he's designated as a post 6/01 cut reducing his 2023 cap # to $2.8M, but his 2024 cap # will be $8.4M

Best case scenario (for Winston), he agrees to be paid back-up money, reducing his base salary. Outside of a splash FA signing, trade, any QB on the roster will have a shot to start in 2023. Unfortunately, with the way Loomis plays with future caps, that just means he'll guarantee the money and give a nice bonus to kickout into 2024-2025.

I hope you're right, I just don't trust this staff to rip the bandaide off. There needs to be a full reset in the QB room. Only one in that room that has earned the right to stay is Taysom, and that's only if the new OC & QB Coach will actually consistently use him the correct way

well you ungrateful idiot, you lost your job because you suck, and it was not because you were injured.

you sucked and should have lost your job long before you got injured, but you only played longer, because they didnt want to pull you out while you were injured, but you left them no other choice because you will never be a starting QB.

what a true pussy arse bitch he is being

at least he has now made sure after this BS, he wont be here next year even if DA keeps his job

enjoy the rest of your life being a fry cook at burger king winston

Never really had the job. Didn’t play enough to deem it your job.

This is a good way to ensure he doesn’t get another starting job in the NFL.

but Jameis comes off as a bit of a bitch here

It’s because he is a bitch. He’s also a bad quarterback. Doesn’t really matter whether Winston or Dalton start. You’re not getting to the playoffs with either one this year or next.
