Came back from down 20 with 4:58 left in the game. One of those ‘where were you’ moments

Well with the attendance being a whopping 197 people, probably not a whole lot of people were there.

It was a neutral site game being played at Appalachian State
A number of App State fans were starting to slowly file in for their game at the end of the CAMP/SLU game

There's a caveat to it... it's the largest deficit ever overcome with less than 5:00 left in the game
The previous record was 19... in Jan. 2017, Nevada beat New Mexico 105-104 in OT after trailing 87-68 with 4:27 left in regulation
ETA: SLU trailed Campbell 61-41 with 4:55 left in the 2nd half and didn't need OT to complete the win... 29-8 run with a buzzer beater with 0.3 left being the winning points

"Biggest comeback" is a little subjective. I mean that's obviously huge. A&M came back from 12 down with :34 left in an NCAA tournament game against UNI. I would consider that a way bigger comeback.

the people who keep these records would have "biggest comeback from..." with different marks left on the clock.
that A&M game you reference might be the record for "biggest comeback with less than 1:00 left"

SLU quietly putting together a decent start to the season. Almost came back down from 16 against Kennesaw on Friday too.

I bet those Campbell players were soupy after the game

They probably ate each other to try to feel better.

I still think Kentucky versus us way in the 1990s on Mardi Gras day is the biggest comeback. Pitino v. Brown if you were there you remember seeing RP outcoach DB.

Should find out soon but no doubts it’ll be in Hammond.

That's the first one I thought of because it was on the SECN earlier in the week. 31 point lead with about 15:00 left in 94.
