Highly recommend doing something like that if your travels take you to another city on game day. We had a flight to catch so we couldn’t stay for the second half. Place was packed with Tiger fans, LSU stuff on the walls, and the music system played all of the band songs, I.e. Chinese bandits after a 3rd down stop

Wouldn’t have known about it if not for posts here.

I’ve been to Legends but not for an LSU game. The Standard in Chicago did the same stuff though for football. Not sure if it’s still the home bar there

If only there was a mega-thread on where to watch Tiger games around the world…

That Mega Thread is a few years old, for instance Drift is now the LSU Bar in Houston instead of Woodrow’s’ on Shepherd. I also didn’t see a sticky for one.

I was at legends for the Tennessee game this year, it was fun even with the loss.

It is an excellent venue to consume CFB, especially for Tiger fans.

I was there last weekend. Pretty nice set up plus a great area just go bar hop before/after.

Whenever I go out of town on a football weekend I always look up the LSU chapter in that city.

Legends is an amazing game day experience. I looked for video of Legends for the Bama 2pt conversion but couldn’t find any. Anybody seen any footage or know where to find it?

Ok so I like Legends also. Not a big fan of their gumbo. Some love it. Great scene. Get there about an hour to 45 early to get a seat at the bar. It gets very busy on game days so there will be groups that take up a lot of seating almost all day. Back to back games so keep that in mind when going. Play fight songs also.

I’d love to go to legends during a game some day. It looks awesome. I’ve only been there on a non game day. Pretty cool that the Empire State Building is literally across the street.

I watched the lsu vs Georgia southern game there in 2019. Before we knew what we had going that season. It was awesome. I also went to the Vanderbilt and bama game away that year and to the natty. Almost forgot I started the season off watching the tigers in NYC.

I liked the standard. Nice little bar and good food. I don’t think it’s the home bar anymore (some tequila place near wrigley) but I’d still go watch a game there. Last 2 times i was there it was for the 2016 ole miss game and the 2019 basketball win over bama with the waters to mays alley oop.

Unpopular opinion: I think watching LSU games at sports bars outside of Louisiana is way more fun than watching in Louisiana (unless ur in Tiger Stadium, of course).. I have had the time of my life at sports bars around the country while watching LSU b/c you meet many people who are displaced for whatever reason (or even just traveling temporarily) and you quickly form a bond with them.. also, when LSU is doing well- it’s SO much fun to rub it in the faces of other teams’ fans .

Oh I agree. Generally the fans are just happy to be able to be around other tigers. In La you get that everywhere and every day.

We were at Jameson Pub in Santa Monica last week for the LSU game. It is the LSU bar in LA now. Lot of fun.
