What do you think the House of Representatives has the power to do with the 900+ cases being prosecuted over this incident?
Exposing a lot of what has been covered up by the prior Congress would likely move the public needle a good bit, I would have to think. The DOJ doesn't operate in a vacuum.

Don't be silly.
The GOPe is very happy to have dissenters in jail.
In fact, they probably think there aren't enough J6ers locked up.

You can’t just go around killing members of the house like that. Some may deserve it, but you can’t do it, or suggest it.

Separation of Powers and all that.
How can the House control the DOJ? Simple. Tell them to remove all the charges or their budget will be zero next year.
If it works for the Feds to force shite on the states via withholding highway funds this seems like a simple approach.
But do republicans have the balls to do such a thing... not a chance. All we will see are some sternly worded letters.

You are talking about the Antifa rioters? Correct?

I assume that you are talking about the "insurrectionists". Putting down a couple hundred would have definitely left a mark on some of the confidential government and ANTIFA plants that were used to instigate and disseminate the partisan propaganda spread by congressional leaders and the J6 committee. Sure, they would have also laid waste to many patriots who were herded by the left's theatrical players and allowed to enter the Capitol and complete the ruse.

Let's wait until all the "facts" come out regarding the "insurrection" and then get back with me to defend holding these political prisoners for almost two years. Your preferred party and your simp comrades support candidates who advocate for releasing violent criminals from jail with no bail. You all are complicit in allowing this criminal organization to survive in this nation.

They may not be over the DOJ, but they can stop the money flow. It may be a drastic measure, but I believe most Americans would support it, especially if they find out the truth. And more Americans, given its still 2 months away will hopefully be less radicalized by the liberals by then.

My guess is that they'll be released, and in exchange the House won't investigate Pelosi's involvement in keeping extra security away.

The House can send a letter to the DOJ after the GOP takes control in January and request that the DOJ drop the charges. I believe the DOJ still maintains prosecutorial discretion.
The House can slash the DOJ budget by 25% and promise to do the same next year if the bullshite doesn’t stop.
Do the same for DHS and cite the border.
Do the same to the Dept of Education.
Yes, this means massive layoffs. TFB
If the senate and WH don’t play ball, shut it all down - and no back pay for anybody if they’re furloughed.

Not enough IMO. Do you understand how much harm and damage that 75% of their current budget could still do to this country and their political rivals?

why would the government do anything helpful for Americans? or were you somehow thinking that the GOP are the good guys? there's no one in government fighting for you or your neighbors.

It's true but it did not stop the partisan hacks in the DOJ from doing the bidding of the Jan 06 Committee.
