I don't know if you realized it but DeSantis has been copying Trump nearly 100% on policy since he decided to run for FL Gov in 2018.
And that message is more relevant today than ever. Economy, jobs, border, safety, freedom, family.
I suspect a lot of the soccer moms and baptists who were afraid of mean tweets will feel differently after 2 more years of the uniparty bloodying their a-hole.

This valid point was made in another Thread. Trump just that "this task is not for a candidate, but a movement". He knows that votes won't determine the future of this Nation as the vote will be manipulated by the corrupt Dems. At least until the new wave of immigrants are granted the vote. So what Trump is really doing is assuming a martyrdom position in order to get out the real story, as media like Fox are folding to Deep State power like a wet noodle. Why would he not retire and go to pasture, as though his ego still needs to be fed?
He sees Freedom/Capitalism and this Nation being destroyed and answers the call. Would Rush Limbaugh fold?
His campaign will be like LSU taking on Georgia in Atlanta. Perhaps a long shot, but one worth taking.
