More Establishment GOP members endorse a "bi partisan Speaker pick"

Republican Rep. Don Bacon (R-NB) told NBC News on Monday he would be willing to work with Democrats to select a Speaker
Bacon is not the only Republican who declined to rule out the possibility of working with the Democrats to elect a Speaker.
Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) left open that possibility
Their threat is simple:
quote:
McCarthy has not addressed specific changes he wants to see brought to Congress that would empower rank-and-file members, including allowing amendments from the floor to advance with a majority of the majority and giving them more of a role in choosing who sits on the Steering Committee, which in turn decides which members end up on each committee.
In other words, They want to see Establishment placed prioritized and if they don't get their way, they are willing to go with the DEMS.
THIS is what Buckey, 14, SirW, OML.... these are the people that they want us to "return" to.
No thank you!

The Republican Party has to be replaced

Was allowing a "bipartisan" speaker the price of the election cheaters "letting" the GOP win the House?
ETA: Imagine that nasty old crone Nancy allowing the gavel to be shared with the GOP.

Thank God more MAGA Republicans didn’t win.
Now the parties can reach across the aisle and work together.

There's no way it won't be McCarthy.
And if it wasn't McCarthy, it would be Scalise.

The threat I heard yesterday was that they would push for Liz Chaney. You don't have to be elected to be speaker.
I think that is an empty threat just to keep that cuck McCucky in power.

This is how low McCarthy will go.
He is saying STFU let me get the gavel or Liz Cheney will.

Did Democrats do this in 2020 when they had a slim 221-213 advantage?
(Checks notes)

Republicans are so awful. At no point in time would the Democrats ever consider this when they are in power. It’s wild how weak they are as a party.

Who owns the republican party???? Clearly not we the people.

A day will never come when I would vote for a democrat but the GOP is getting close to losing me as a vote, I might just stop voting altogether. What's the point when they will buckle to the democrats like this?
