First two episodes were a continuation of the shite heap that was season 4.
At this point, the show is just staying alive to make money. Artistically, this show should have been over after season 3.

I enjoyed them but couple of things:
1. So did they not get the tags for the wolves? Otherwise I don't see how you get in trouble for killing them even with the collars. Very hard to know. I can only assume, though it wasn't explicitly said, that they never got the tags
2. Monica is a moron and the whole wreck and lost baby is pretty much her fault. No reason to keep driving like that experiencing the issues she was experiencing

Huh? The show never implied that Beth was raped, let alone by Jamie.
It was Rip's child she aborted. That was made clear in the show.

TBH, this was the case after the first season. The entertainment value is diminished because the dialogue and characters are so over-the-top. Especially Beth and Monica.

Oh I agree that it isn’t a commonly held view but Beth’s hatred is very deep and this show hasn’t revealed all it’s cards on the whole Beth and Jamie saga.

The whole Monica/Casey storyline is a complete waste of time. Adds nothing. Same with the flashbacks. We get it… John will save the ranch at all costs. And Beth was a whore that treated Rip like crap.

I have only watched bits and pieces of this show and it is bad arse. One day I will binge it which is why I don't watch it

Season 5 opener didn't really add anything we already didn't konw. The previews showed John as governor. Beth is still a bitch and ho. Jamie is still doing what he is told, although John did stand up for him at some point.
What I don't get is in seasons 1-4 the Native American's were all about this is our land and it should be natural. Now that John has said that is what he wants to do they are pissed at him. All because of a casino. It's hypocritical.

I mean I guess I get the point in that after he does this, the land will be immune to any developments, but man talk about tying your hands.
Wasn't it last season they offered John like almost a BILLION dollars for a SMALL portion of his total ranch to put the airport and resort? I mean he could've used that windfall to buy double the land and actually improve his net worth, real estate...

Beth didn’t hate Jamie until the sterilization. She even held his hand before going into the clinic.
