Pretty sure when the cameras are off those kids are living better than most of us. It's a propaganda thing commies have always done, dress like the proletariat to associate with them. Makes it real easy to cozy up to you and frick you over.

As was said previously, this is just Democrats wanting to play up the "working class hero" bullshite with Fetterman as much as possible. Even blue collar folks have enough sense to dress more formally for such an occasion.
