I think the biggest problem with Rs and the suburbs right now (and probably going forward) is that the suburban voters hate weird shite. And things on the Republican side of the aisle (because of Trump) have gotten especially fricking weird.
It’s not even especially ideologically grounded. It’s the whole aesthetic vibe. It’s just repugnant. You can’t talk about tax cuts out of one side of your mouth and Q conspiracies out the other.

Do you folks buy Conner's argument?

Republicans did fine. Media is anti republican and fools are falling for it.

Maybe there was never going to be but the idiots in the media hyped it up so it wouldn’t look like anything but a loss for us. Even if we won.

Nobody was thinking about Q when they stepped in the voting booth.
Hard fail.
Hard fail.

I think it comes down to 2 things
1) Cheating
2) GOP ran a lot of weak candidates

I live in a suburb. He’s a dumbass or to simple minded to figure out complex matters.

The Cook Report said republicans outvoted the democrats by 6.5 percentage points.

We are going to take back the House.
We are very likely going to take back the Senate, even with the frickery going on in Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia.
The largest swing state in the country (Florida) is solid red now.
Texas and Ohio are red.
We won congressional seats in New York and other democrat strongholds that haven't been red in years.
How many governor's seats did we take? 2? 3?
I mean, call it what you want, but that looks pretty promising to me moving forward.

Exactly. Fools are falling hook line and sinker for the media narrative. Pump a red wave and then bash the Republicans when it isn't a land slide.

It comes down to one thing. Republicans gave Democrats a run for their money in a bunch of deep blue states but didn't win any of them. Dems won in blue states, Reps won in red states. The red tsunami was predicated on Republicans getting stunning upsets in places like NY, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon. The odds were against that.

It was a red wave. According to my definition. Or actually just because I said so.
