Did we ever determine if Chef Folse is, indeed, a hated figure in SE Louisiana?

Not what I gather.

I say 3/5 of people who delt with Chef John Folse hate him.

I'm just pissed that I've been asking for this cookbook for Christmas for the past 10 years and still haven't received it. I need new friends.

Speaking of Orange Girl, is she banging anyone outside of marriage or stealing trademarks and copyrights these days?

Funny "coincidence" Folse had many George Rodrigue original paintings hanging in Lafitte's Landing. The night before the place burned to the ground, those originals were removed from the restaurant.

Okra translates roughly to gumbo in West African languages.

No okra = No gumbo, maybe a delicious soup.
