Burns touchdown saving tackle, excellent field goal kicking, exceptional conditioning of the team overall, and great WR and TE blocking downfield.

Burns making that tackle epitomizes the team’s desire, I think. They don’t quit and their conditioning is light years better than the last couple of seasons.

Harold Perkins glaring at Bryce Young each time he hit him.

Like, “I’ll be back bitch.”

To run that dude down after being out of position was impressive. Brian Kelly even said so. Kelly also said he was out of position to begin with and that’s what lead to that whole thing and that they would work on that so it doesn’t happen again.

But I bet Kelly watches that play a few times today and thinks to himself. …SPEED. SEC SPEED.

I'm mean ya good for him, but its his fault it happened...like Kelly said post game, "He better chase him down, he was supposed to be inside out."

Two big things I saw was the conditioning you mentioned and the tackling. This might be one of the best tackling teams outside of Greg Penn. I don't know how #30 even plays personally. But I can't remember how many times I've seen DBs breakdown and actually squat for a tackle instead of charging for the big hit.

I’m still just a lil drunk mentally because I just watched an LSU team with a first year coach and staff, with something like 37 scholly players last season, go out and whoop nick saban, his heisman QB, and his team of stacked 5* players, and the refs too.

We beat them with coaching. 2019 was talent. This year it’s coaching superiority.

One other important factoid: We will not have to face Bryce Young and Jahmyr Gibbs again.

LSU plays best late in the game. That's definitely conditioning.

This team is faaaar better conditioned than any in a decade. They are stronger down the stretch.

Kayshawn’s 3rd down catch to give us 1st and goal was a big play as well.

Interesting that if Nick would have kicked the EP that second time, they would have won the game in regulation.

Some quietly good games: I thought Foucha made a lot of good plays, Baskerville was really disruptive with pressure and Emory Jones made some nice blocks.

They had a couple of rough plays but our bookend tackles that are true freshmen, holding their own for 95% of the game against the Bama front.

These guys are true freshmen.

Was Perkins the only one sidelined for a bit with cramps? I guess?

Big props to Jay Bramlett keeping Bama backed up inside the 10 yard line for most of the first half as well.
