I’m curious to know why Abbott isn’t running ads hammering Beto on taking guns away from law abiding citizens?

Because he does not need to spend that kind of money to beat Beto.

Texas has relatively clean elections (no dominion) and Abbott has like a 10-15 pt lead on Francis.
He doesn't need to do do negative ads with that kind of cushion.

A lot of truth in what y’all are saying. I guess I’m just hoping Beto’s beat bad enough that he just goes away.

His name isn't beto. It's Patrick. Only rich/dumb whitey is fooled by this schtick.
Unfortunately, he probably won't go away. I lived in ATL when Ossof started running for minor stuff, as a totally ineffective sounding (D) for some state level office, and 15 years-ish later, he has enough name recognition to be a Federal US Senator. I wouldn't trust that dude to be in charge of garbage collection, but the left has always wanted power more than anything else. Any useful idiot will do LINK. It's never going to stop, it's been with us since our founding.

Hes not going away because he generates millions of money from donors across the USA to the democrat party. They can funnel the money into pockets im sure. Democrats who support Beto are extremely stupid people.

The Houston suburban is rife with Beto yardsigns, bumper stickers, and...enthusiasm!

That 100% will not happen. Beto has found a cottage industry of running in races he can’t win while taking millions from coastal leftists who want to interfere with Texas.

True, not to mention he banks a cut of that.

So what’s so great about the current situation that you want to vote for more of it?

Every car in Austin has a Beto sticker. Here in Houston, depends on the neighborhood. I still don't see how anyone can be fooled into thinking that arse clown could do anything other than bring down Texas...

$ Better spent on busing illegals to Martha's Vineyard.

Abbott can save his money, he's up double digits.
Posted on 11/1/22 at 11:09 pm to GruntbyAssociation
The very fact Abbott will leave the governor's mansion is sufficient enough.

Are you actually in Texas? Every other fricking commercial in Houston is Betos gun quote or late trimester abortion quote. CONSTANTLY!

I’m in Waco, it is never played here.
Good that it’s played in Houston though.

Problem 1.
I don't know a single person other than you that voted for Beto. But I'm also not a walking vagina, so I have that going for me.

Because he does not need to spend that kind of money to beat Beto.
Takes the campaign funds from any election he loses, lauders most of it, and gives some kickbacks to the DNC & Unions so they'll help him do it next time.
Anyone donating money to that fool should be scorned for being so gullible.
He doesn't even try to win. Look at his actions- they are designed to boost fundraising ONLY; never to sway on the fence voters.
