The girl from Ole Miss grabbed and threw the LSU girl during the play. I'm not sure how commonplace that is in soccer, but it is what apparently set the LSU girl off. The LSU girl then slapped the OM girl upside the head. The OM girl then retaliated and landed a nice slap upside the LSU girls head...who subsequently left the field crying.
To be fair though, that was the most violent soccer fight I've seen in a while. Usually it is just a push, which then causes the person who was pushed to flop on the ground and writhe in "pain" like they have just blasted with a shotgun

Now LSU will be without two of its best players in NCAA tournament. One game suspension for Gordon and Noel who as seniors, should know better.
Gordon would have gotten the foul call and possession when she was grabbed by Ole Miss player but lost her temper and things escalated. Noel joining the fray to stick up for Gordon was equally silly and now both of their careers may be over. Not sure if LSU can win without either one.
