What time does Waffle House open? That’s the ultimate cafe.

The "Native Cafe" at Pensacola Beach is a favorite for my family, but they open at 7:30 which is way too late. There is always a line outside when they open.

That's why I said in my original post that it depends on the location.

People who live in Boise are still asleep at 6-7am. I grew up in Alexandria and it was very different. A lot of the population works jobs where you labor early in the morning or do shift work. The town was awake during 5-6 am.

Sounds like they open at the right time.

Do you want them to sit around at < half capacity for an hour and a half?

Whenever they want. It is their business and they can name and run it how they choose. Whether the market supports jt is a different question

A cafe opening at 8am is catering to stay at home moms that have nothing to do after dropping Meighsleigh off at school. 6am cafes are full of old men drinking unlimited refill $2 coffee complaining about politics

I think we could all use a place like this about now.

It's common for "cafes" to open around 5-6AM and close by 2PM around here.

Same here. Traditional, typical hours.

I'm with you, open at 6 because I am grumpy by 7 and need to eat. But in reality, if all 6 of us are getting out for breakfast we are lucky to get somewhere by 8, and I'm really grumpy by then. Also, the best is breakfast at a diner before fishing. Better open at 3:30.

Sounds amazing.

Where is this place in BR? Original Frank's? Reminds me of the counter at the Krispi Kreme on plank when I was a kid.
