BOOM!!!! That's CALLED STANDING!
Gotta move very quickly!
Do you feel it?

In a press release from VoterGa on Thursday, we learned the Georgia Supreme Court has issued a ruling that will impact at least one major election challenge in Georgia and potentially others throughout the United States. The timing of this decision is significant: there is only 8 days remaining before Georgia State law will allow for the destruction of 2020 election evidence.
The case that may be impacted is Favorito et al v. Cooney et al. This case was dismissed on Oct. 13, 2021 by Judge Brian Amero using the aforementioned case, as well as Wood v Raffensperger. Judge Amero stated the following in his Order Granting Motion to Dismiss:
Gotta move very quickly!
Do you feel it?

We’ve always had standing, but what we didn’t realize was the extent to which they had rigged the DOJ to deny what is rightfully ours for a second time.
The American people have the only right.

The ones you’d sue are in control of masking, obfuscating and clearing all traces.

There was a case this goes back to where he sued Fulton county and the person working there. The lower court ruled they could not be sued.
Now...
They can.
But they got 8 days to make sure everything is protected because they will destroy it all

Maybe, he should step down and put Jody Hice on the ballot in his place. He rightfully won the primary. Rattfricker stole it.

Hice would’ve been great.

I am going to write him in. I figure if whatever democrat is running for SOS wins, that would be better than have this clown who says he is a republican and flies cover for the Democrats. All the media and hacks love saying - Georgia has a Republican SOS. The hell we do.

All I have wanted for almost 2 years is to see the ballots in Georgia. I want pictures of every ballot plastered all over the internet.
When people see that folks like Johan and true the Vote were right the whole time....

While I want to be optimistic, from previous things we've seen go down, I wouldn't be surprised to learn all evidence / logs were already wiped anyway.

quote:No. It is interesting. I will try to read the decision sometime this weekend, but it appears to be based upon Georgia statutes.

The question of "standing to bring suit" is generally a state law issue, and the answers will vary from state to state. This decision certainly gives clarity on Georgia election law.
It is unlikely to have much (if any) effect in any other state.
I have said from the beginning that "heads should roll" for violations of election law. My primary difference with prevailing Forum orthodoxy is that (setting aside punishment of perpetrators) I just don't see how these lawsuits can change the results of PAST elections. They may well get "bad guys" fined or even jailed, but the structural problems will persist unless legislatures fix them.
Texas made some changes and plugged some holes, though the legislation COULD have been more far-reaching. Other states also made a few changes. I don't recall that ANY of them really FIXED the big issues, the largest of which was unrestricted mail-in voting. Therein lies the problem for 2022 and 2024.
=====
As an aside, anyone who posts the sarcastic “no standing” -type comment is simply demonstrating a complete lack of understanding of this concept.
