Hes lucky we didn't keep Val in to keep bodying his arse down low like a bitch.
But this is Christian Wood. A team comes out and shoots 50 40 on you and he can't give credit, just whines about his team not playing well.
Seems to be a common theme.
My buddy said the mavs would take a step back because of christian wood, it just goes beyond stats as to why.

He could be implying that they knew the stars were out so they didn’t play with the same sense of urgency. On paper they should have beat us pretty bad.

Christian Wood avoided accountability on this statement almost as badly as Westbrook does on a regular basis.
Dallas has a lot of fluffing in the locker room from that playoff performance last year, and their heads are still clearly in the clouds.

I mean he said "we" not "they," even though he had every right to take himself out of that statement about his team considering he scored 23 points in 29 minutes on 10 attempts with near perfect efficiency.
Wood wasn't their problem unlike Westbrook, who would be literal addition by subtraction at this point for the Lakers.
I do agree that Dallas might have an inflated sense of self, but Luka really is that good. The man was hobbling for spurts and still almost took us down. But his greatness papers over a roster that would struggle to win 30 games without him.
