CFB Week 9 Betting Thread

Can't believe we're nearing the finish line already.
I took LSU +16 at Caesars for next week, and I'm a Bama fan. Yeah, I know, Saban and byes. But LSU finally has a coach with somewhat of a modern football brain for the first time in like two decades.
Week 9 Lines
So far I have...
ECU +3.5. Teams going in opposite directions.
Kentucky +14. Feel like there's a decent chance UT comes out overconfident or looking ahead to the UGA game, or both.
Illinois -7. They're still underrated imo and playing Nebraska never hurts.
Syracuse -2. Close to being 7-0. ND is all name and no results.
Fresno -7. This one moved a little. Whether Haener plays or not, I can't see garbage SDSU staying within 10.
Ole Miss -3. Moved against me and it's 2.5 now. What a mess Jimbo has on his hands.
Old Dominion +4. I feel they are better than Georgia St.
Other Games:
Iowa is a double digit favorite in a football game.
UGA -23 feels like too much with UT on deck. I'll probably add UF.
Marshall -2.5 vs. Coastal is interesting. Coastal was finally exposed 2 weeks ago but coming off a bye here. Marshall beat JMU in one of the ugliest games in modern history. Take a deep dive into that box score if you get a chance. I need to research this more but CC looks like a play.
New Mexico St @ UMass = lulz

Fresno is garbage too. They have a worse record than SDSU and they lost to fricking UConn. I wouldn't trust either one of those teams.

what scares me about Ole Miss is the leaky defense.
I know A&M struggles on offense, but they've had times when they've done better than I thought they would. Like the Alabama game.
They are.
I like it. As good as they are on offense, it's hard to just keep racking points every week like they have. Or maybe they are just that damn good and can't be stopped.
But a letdown game if you will, can happen to any team IMO.

Tennessee this year reminds me a lot of 2015 Ole Miss. High flying offense that can outscore Bama. But at some point the offense will be off the defense won't do enough to grind out a win.

Picking 1 game from almost a month ago where the backup QB was playing his first game is the epitome of bad handicapping. Fife has improved every game since then, and if Haener plays they are one of the best teams in the conference. There's a reason this line opened at 7 and it's up to 8.5 and will probably close at 10.

ML might have more value than the spread for these reasons.

I trust stoops to scheme up stops but their offense has struggled this year
I think the move might be to look first half under or +7 in first half.

Would the under be a good play? 39.5

This screams trap to me. A&M is shite but they could dominate both lines of scrimmage in this one. Ole Miss might not have an answer for Achane

8&4 just lost their starting center and left guard. Hard to see that offense dominating anything.

Ole Miss was extremely overrated. A&M obviously not good but I'm with you. I'd go with the home team on this one.

the o-line has been pretty bad all year and hasn't scored over 24 against an FBS team.

dang, Tennessee -12 now
I mean, I know Tennesse's defense isn't all world but if/when Tennesse's offense gets out in front, it will leave Kentucky behind and one dimensional with a suspect O-line.
I hate this shite

If you liked it before, why would you hate that it’s moving in that direction?

Crazy this was 3-0 at the half

i probably just won't bet that game man.
I guess if I had to, I'd take Tennessee.
they are just having too good of a season and Kentucky's best win is @ Florida? or the best loss was at home to Mississippi St or on the road @ Ole Miss?
I just don't know.
I like Levis, but not that much.

Like an idiot, I am biting on Michigan State +22.5. Michigan has a habit of choking against MSU. I think they will pull away in the end, but MSU puts up two or three TDs and Michigan scores about 28-35.
Spent five days in Vegas and it's just not the same now that you can bet at home. In fact, at some books, they really seemed to be pushing the app anyway. Seems like most of the town is either BetMGM or Caesars/William Hill now.
