If CBK wants to prove himself to the LSU fanbase

he needs to show up to his next presser & lay down the challenge to everyone going to the game that HE will cover the field rush fine should the fans & entire student section keep us in the game all game long & assist the team in securing the W.

He just donated an unprecedented million bucks and has made huge strides in Season 1. He’s proven himself to me.
That said, it certainly would be cool if we took SVP up on his promise to pay the fines for playing ‘neck’ and for someone to preemptively step up and offer to pay for the ‘field rush’ fine. Problem I foresee is offering it prior, brings some liability for injury and destruction of property - ouch.

That would be stupid. Since it seems to me almost entirely the students who did it and so many seem to be so deluded as to defend them, they need to raise the price of the student tickets next year to cover the fine.

I am sure there is some internal talk about how to rotary his relationship with Saban and also his view on this game. He may not want to build it up he may say yes we should make that our goal. I have seen many a team waste seasons based off of beating one team each year.

No he won’t do that. Because of someone gets hurt in the field rush he will be sued for liability for encouraging it.

Fines go to the SEC Office.

I don’t think he has anything extemporaneous to prove to the “fan base”. Why would anyone insert themselves into that? I guess could, anything is

I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t be allowed by the league to do that even if he wanted, since the reason for the fine is to stop fans from rushing this field because of player safety issues.
