Ole Miss hasn't controlled their own destiny to Atlanta this far into the season very often. Since Kiffin took the helm, the fanbase has been expecting this. Rightfully so in my opinion. Now that the season is starting to materialize, the pressure is building.

Bad scenario at a pivotal point in the season, traveling to Baton Rouge and a not very good LSU program with nothing to lose. Rivalry game. They are supposed to win. Do they escape? All I know is I'm staying away from this one on the betting apps. (Although my brain says bet the house on Ole Miss)

Does "not very good" mean average?

We are pretty good. I’m sure all the players and coaches are focused on just playing well. One okay at a time. You’re, right, we are the better team.

Even if we lose we will still control our own destiny because LSU has 0% chance of beating Alabama this season

This is a rebuilding year. Before the season started, I thought we'd have 7 wins all season. Could easily still happen. I've been happy with how this season has gone and tomorrow will not change that. I will be disappointed if we lose out, but it falls right in line with where I thought we'd be preseason.

You're hitting the put up or shut up phase of your schedule.

This is the scenario you play for.

Besides, 7-0 is my kind of rebuilding year. We lost the starting QB, nearly all the WRs, all the RB's, our best DE, our best LB, and both coordinators. As far as I'm concerned, we're playing with house money.

Ole Miss can lose in BR and still control their own destiny.

Being in control of your destiny is never a worst case scenario. A bad scenario would be needing to win out with Bama and Ole Miss left on your schedule and then hope that Ole Miss drops another along the way. Just a scenario off the top of my head.

You must be one damm fool to bet on a team with no defense! I say LSU win by 2 scores. It is at LSU. Plus, Ole Miss defense hasn't been all that great. LSU defense is improving weekly.
