Based on the quote there’s not a lot of details

If he just died randomly then yea queue up the mud blood comments

But it could have been something else based on what I’ve seen reported

We will never know. But I'd really like to know.

Such a bummer. I was pulling for MSU this weekend, but now I'm really pulling for them. Hope they play in all blacks. Would be awesome.

RIP Sam.

I remember years ago there was a guy that was a big star college basketball player.

He went on to star in NBA.
Retired early because of injuries.

One day he was playing in a pick-up game in a church league and dropped dead. He was only 40. He had an unknown heart defect.

Suicide? Yeh that unfortunately does happen to young people far too often

You might want to go read the QBs tweet, and look at the fact the Police are “investigating” the incident you moron OP

Can you post the tweet?

It would be good journalism if the ESPN article gave us the cause of death but I guess that is doo much to ask of journalism today.

”they aren’t releasing until police investigation is completed”

The qbs tweet

quote:

RIP Sam. It’s okay to not be okay and we can always do more no matter what is going on. Hail State forever brother. Til we meet again 78.

You talking about Pistol Pete? Yeah IIRC he was born without a left coronary artery and his right coronary artery compensated and did all the work his entire life. It clogged and that was it.

Thanks for doing better journalism than ESPN.

Accidental death with covid would still be counted as a covid death though.

Came to the board expecting to see you mouth breathers try and blame what is almost certainly a suicide on the vaccine.

Was not disappointed.

Yep. Crazy that he could play the way he did with a bad heart.

Don Redden, Pete Maravich and John Ritter come to mind. But they all 3 did not die the same year with 25 other athletes or actors

Take that back Don and Pete did die in the same year.

Pistol Pete also had a undiagnosed enlarged heart I believe. As hard as he played in his youth he never showed anything concerning. 40 is young of course but he was playing in a different physical condition. MSU player is much younger and should have shown any problems with system in the many newer testing

Wonder if they will conduct an autopsy and find no obvious cause?

Football is a dangerous sport. Especially when you take Fauci's clot shot.
