Who is LSU’s greatest punter all-time?

Donnie Jones
Brad Wing
Who else gets mentioned?

I prefer not knowing the name of the punter. I genuinely don’t remember the name of the guy in 2019 - was it still the old ex-MLB player?

Was coming to say Kessler
Also Jeremy Witten
Also Jeremy Witten

I've got to go Wing. He could flip field position like a left footed Ray Guy (goat).

Is that a joke? You really don't know his name?

Donnie Jones is the easy answer & Brad Wing isn’t really even in the discussion.

Brad Wing was one of the best punters I have ever seen. Not just at LSU.
Kessler was good but he could only hit bombs. I think we used to bring Witten in to pooch punt because Kessler couldn’t kick less than 50 yards.

Yep, opposing teams couldn't replicate his left footed rotation in practice. He was the best I've ever seen in person as well.

Brad Wing. He had golf clubs for a kicking foot. I watched him warm up one time from the SEZ bleachers. I was amazed at how he could curve the ball on kick and drop it over and over in the sideline hash marks. Then he would drop it inside the 5 with the pointy end kick.

This is a hard choice, if you’re talking about just at LSU, I’ll go with Brad Wing. If you’re including the pros, nobody touches Donnie Jones.

I always bring up Rosenberg. He was quietly one of the best ever for LSU. 2018 he was damned good. 2019 he didn't punt alot. Then In 2020 he was arguably the best in the country. His average wasn't the best but his punts inside the 20 were insane!

I like the one that had a touchdown called back for taunting.
Has any other punter had this happen to them in forever?
