So my sister has done some things for the GOP in our area and got an invite to this Hannity/Herschel townhall tonight on Fox and is taking me with her.

Any questions I should ask if given the chance?

“We are currently and in the past ,seeing former pro athletes , particularly football players running for seats in the house and senate as Republicans, why is that ? And why don’t they run as Democrats ?

Will you commit, tonight, to the complete dismantling of the FBI?

Thoughts on the ut/uga game in a few weeks.

Adding...Walker should be at that game no doubt. Shaking hands and taking pics. National implications top 3 teams face off, is perfect timing for election day being the following Tuesday.

"Do you believe the federal government has a role in legislating abortion?"

And then hope his handlers have told him to say "No. Next question."

The same standard should be used for SCOTUS making national social laws.

Perhaps, but that is outside the scope of Walker's town hall.

The SCOTUS said "No, not without a legal Federal Law on the books giving the Federal Government to have said role."

They rightfully vacated Roe vs. Wade and sent that Right back to each State where it dutifully belongs.

Abortion is not an issue in 2022 or 2024.

Yes. I know.

Which is why I want Walker to say "No, I do not think the federal government has any role in legislating abortion."

Not if a scotus nominee pops, then would be good to know what he would like to see in a judge. Also, looking at a way to prevent scotus from doing this.

I just speak for myself, but if I was a GA resident or working for Team Herschel, the last thing I would want is for him to try and articulate a position on SCOTUS or anything approaching the law.

Keep it simple. Say "not a federal issue" and move on. Abortion is not an issue the GOP needs to focus on in Georgia. If asked about a SCOTUS judge, "I don't deal in hypotheticals. I'll analyze the POTUS' nominee if and when a seat opens up."
