That our defense blew it and I hope he keeps slinging it like that.

I would have blamed the defense for putting the team in a position to where they were having to throw down field at that point in the game

I believe that LSU team was going to find a way to win that night regardless.

when he threw the pick, i literally said "good hes still slinging it". If anything, hopefully that got his interception nerves out of the way. I thought we were gonna lose if they didnt call that RP

My stance two weeks ago after Auburn was that I would like to see JD sling it more and risk an INT if it allowed us to open the offense.

We aren't beating OM or Bama unless we challenge them and throw it downfield. If we don't, the scores are going to look similar to the Tennessee game.

I do t wonder about those things after a game because it’s a waste of time.

The game should have never been even close. The defense and special teams let them stay in that game.

So the very real potential loss due to an interception isn't worth discussing and looking into? I'm damn glad you're not the coach in charge of self-reflection and growth.

We would have gone down and won the game even if Florida had tied it after the pick.

A loss would have sucked but I would’ve been pumped by what we saw from JD regardless.

LSU got a call that was correctly called and went the Tiger's way.

Florida got many more.

No-call for holding on the Richardson TD run.

Overturned LSU catch for a 1st down, overturned fumble that would have ended the game.

Let's not forget the 2 yards backwards pass that Richardson one hopped. Should have been a live ball and a running clock.

eta: Also, you can't hit a QB in the head anyways. QB is a defenseless player at that point. It was roughing the passer even without the full belly flop.

When it was overturned I was like great we are going to blow this lead, then they called the flag and I was like we likely just won the game on that flag.

That, and even though it would probably be irrational because the ball was badly overthrown, I'd still be frustrated that LSU seems to continue to go to the TEs in big spots. Thomas made at least two tremendous catches in the game. Boutte has proven he can be a big time WR. Nabers can outfight a lot of guys for contested catches. Jenkins has proven to be clutch time and time again. So when you need a big play WHY seek out the weakest receivers on the team?

Perhaps one day the TEs will be the big time playmakers for LSU. But it isn't this year! You have talent at WR. Get them the ball!!!

I am STILL considering not awarding 2007 a title Because West Virginia should have beaten pitt.

I just have not decided yet. Should come to a conclusion soon tho.
