Aranda has had a bit of a roller coaster ride there so far as head coach. They were bad in his first year, but that was the weird COVID year and they finished 2-7. They were great last year with the 12 wins. And now they are back to looking pretty bad again. It looks like it will be a struggle for them to finish above.500 at this point with tougher games gainst Kansas, TCU and Texas still remaining.

With someone else’s talent. Let’s see how he does in years three and four.I loved Aranda as a DC.I thought he was the best I’ve ever seen. But I would have never hired an introvert like him (or Venables) as a Head Coach. I’m rooting for him, but I have my doubts.
