We have ELITE talent at WR and a dynamic QB on his feet, and yet we are trying to implement this dam pro-style offense with a freshman TE (I think he will be good, but not right now) instead of spreading them out 5-wide! Roll the dam QB out and let him *Russell Wilson voice* "RUN OR PASS"!!

It's the stubborn my way or the highway offense we struggled through for 10+ years with Les. Please BK, hire a young relevant offensive staff that can run the spread and let them run it!!

Maybe; it’s not Les Miles bad but could be better, hard to tell when you can’t block ‘em.

It’s a bad scheme for sure. Long pass plays with a qb who won’t throw downfield.

It’s a terrible combination.

I don’t think the scheme is 100 percent to blame I think if we had a QB who could read a defense, understand when he is about to get blitzed an what to do with the ball if they are blitzing, and wasn’t scared to throw it that the offense would look a lot different. I think they will recruit an find a QB who can run the offense but currently they just need to do simple stuff because we have a 1 read QB so run the short passing game plays and don’t get cute

I loved not only the up-tempo aspect of tenn’s O but also their formations. Reminded me of how Brady would find mismatches. Ball was out in just a couple seconds

we are asking Daniels to do the one thing he can’t do. I give up. This is peak Cam Cameron

It’s really not the problem. We have a QB who doesn’t take downfield chances.

I’ve said it’s the scheme for weeks. We have the most predictable and worst offense in the SEC.

I think it's a combination of the scheme and JD's lack of an ability to read a defense or accurately throw more than a 10-yard pass. JD's abilities are built to function in an RPO style offense, but that's not what we're currently running. Denbrock is doing JD no favors by forcing him to operate within a system in which he is obviously uncomfortable and ill equipped for. It's more of the square peg/round hole situation that we suffered through for years with Les Miles.

BK is not a stupid man. He's coached football long enough to have forgotten more than the rest of us will ever learn. So, that being the case, why did he go out an get a transfer QB who would not work within the structure of the offense he wants to run? He obviously researched JD enough to know exactly what he was getting. Did he feel that he could develop him into a better passer? If so, it's obvious that it's not working. So, what's the solution? Seems pretty clear to me. Either you change the system to fit the personnel you have, or you change the personnel to fit the system you want to run. Continuing along the path we're currently on will just lead to more failure.

You can only “scheme” around the talent you have. Guys we do not have a offensive line. We have a hodgepodge of young guys playing out of position. You can’t put a good scheme around that.

Our receivers drop balls and can’t get open when the game is on the line. I don’t think they’re elite by any standards

We can’t spread out 5 wide.. our front 5 can’t pass block like that. Unfortunately, we have to keep TE and RBs in to help block. It limits the scheme and the routes that can be run when you have to do this… it’s simply a sign of having a young and inexperienced line. Like yesterday, if we can’t run and grind clock.. we are going to struggle

Daniel’s signals the play on almost every down. When it’s a run he doesn’t even look left or right at the receivers. This was true on the vast majority of the runs yesterday. He also stares at the receiver he’s going to throw to before the snap.
