I like this guy's response on an article strictly about the kicker signings:

Big deal what about free safety, running back, WLB starting Dunbar, D coordinator etc. plus play calling....

I guess five missed extra points in five year isn't bad. 3 his senior year isn't good, but 74 is a lot of XPs and one or two were probably blocked.

Hartley averaged 6 yards a carry in college. Maybe we can try him out as a 3rd down back or something.

Payton's kicker carousel is getting to be a joke. The ultimate irony will be to resign Carney if the Giants drop him soon. Ya gotta give them credit for not sticking with anyone they're not satisfied with. After drafting the first kicker last spring and failing I predict they will sign the best big name proven kicker next. Anyone know free agent kickers coming up?

I wonder if greatest saint of all time Morten Andersen is willing to come out of retirement.

I know, that is a worrisome fact.

And does anyone know if the new punter has experience being the holder???

Or we looking at Brunell putting down the clip board and trotting out there???!?!
