Denbrock was OC at ND for 1 season

I was looking at his resume at noticed he was only there for 2014. The next few years he was moved to AHC/WR coach. anyone know the specifics for the move? I know he and Kelly go further back than that, but I initially thought he was his OC for a longer stint.

Someone needs to hire Fickell and cinci needs to hire Denbrock

He was demoted for a reason.

I know he got his play calling duties taken away by Kelly which was a big red flag and very confusing on why he was hired

Notre Dame told Kelly he needed to do something with the offense. Denbrock is Kelly’s boy and will be here for as long as we let him

He has no creativity, imagination, and no sense of how to get the most out of this limited roster. We do nothing to make the defense think.

DenBrock’s offenses were a nightmare for opponents at Cincinnati. We need to stop making excuses for our players lack of execution. We should get a clue the we are very weak in some areas. Nobody is walking through that door to save us.

He was bad for ND and higher ups forced the issue with Kelly.
LSU will need to do the same. We are stuck with him if LSU does not force the issue

This guy gets it

The QB/OL situation leaves a lot to be desired, but he's been very underwhelming. His inability to scheme for our playmakers and lack of creativity in the run game have been puzzling.

Against what teams though? Cincy didn't exactly play a tough schedule.

Daniels would have lit it up at Cincinnati. Denbrock likely thought he was the best qb he has ever seen. Let me help you mr denbrock this isn’t Cincinnati and Daniels is not a winner with his one dimensional abilities. Sorry its that simple. You better find another qb before you see a vacant stadium

I went to the Cincinnati Bama game last year. They had nothing to lose, but it was the most bland game plan. No deep shots, nothing creative. He had a high draft pick under center against a not so great Bama D.

We don’t play Cincinnati’s schedule. And when they played Bama last year, they scored 6 points.
LSU scored 14 on Bama last year.
His offenses worked because they had players far better than their routine schedule.
When his players were not superior, his offenses were ranked 98th in 2017 and 101 in 2018.

Were you saying this as we ran a swing pass to Josh Williams behind the line of scrimmage on 3rd & 8?

Nobody in the world is getting anything out of this shite roster that we have on offense. How some of you are so clueless is perplexing. Is this y’all first year watching football?

Football is football. You ack like Cincinnati was competing with SEC players.
The biggest myth in college football is that coaches from smaller schools can’t win at the bigger schools. Football will always be about discipline, whooping the guy in front of you, and executing.

Even as limited as we are talent wise, we still have more NFL guys than Ole Miss on offense. Yet they are light years better because of scheme and creativity.

Correct and the team didn't do that and 2 of those tend to be a product of coaching.

How many of those guys did ole miss bring in that fit their system?
How many did they inherit?
