At the beginning of the game or late 2nd Q? Crowd will be late arriving based on most morning games.

There will be ppl on campus who have tickets but chose to watch it from the tailgate and will only come in if it’s a close game late
Asinine against a top 10 team.

If the game isn't close it won't matter for the "too hot" crowd. I am not saying I agree but it's just the way it works

I wasn't encouraged by how empty the upper deck was against Miss St.
Hopefully the fans show up because a loud TS would be a decided advantage

The weather is going to be beautiful this Saturday. LSU fans have become soft as shite.

Absolutely no chest.
If stadium is 100% full it's an embarrassment. Biggest game of the year so far and biggest game since 2019. What happened to this fan base?

Extreme heat? The high is in the mid-80s. It's gonna be a nice day.

I seriously doubt that there will be 30K Vol fans in the building
Maybe not quite 30k. But I think 20k+ is a very reasonable estimate. Tennessee hasn't played in Tiger Stadium in 12 years and the program currently has its highest ranking in over a decade. Like the UGA game in 2018, optimism in the Tennessee program is at a tremendous high and this is a "bucket list" type game for many fans since it may be quite a few years before Tennessee returns to Baton Rouge. Given the fact so many LSU fans hate the idea of an 11:00 am kickoff coupled with the desire of Tennessee fans to attend the game, I think there will be a not insignificant number of "LSU tickets" available to be purchased by Tenn. fans.
I would truly be shocked if it doesn't look and sound a lot like the 2018 Georgia game. Hopefully, that look and sound also mirrors the 2018 Georgia game in that it was mostly LSU fans doing all of the cheering.

Agree. If our fan base cannot fill Tiger Stadium to capacity and make it roar and tremble for a game against an undefeated Top 10 SEC opponent, then truly it is pitiful and dead. This wouldn't even be a question at other schools.

In your opinion how full will Tiger stadium be Saturday?
hoping for about 90-95% I'll be there boozed up and ready. Hopefully, Death Valley is awake and ready for a big Top 25 matchup!

You're arguing your desires vs reality.
Weather has hardly anything to do with it...if the game is close late, the stadium will be packed. If the game is a blowout, it won't. That statement is true if it's 72 degrees and sunny or 92 degrees.
This isn't just LSU but alot of the people who have tickets now are more of a casual fan. THOUSANDS will show up to campus around 10:30am and see how the game is going before committing to going in..it's the same thing that happened against UF just last year. By the end of the game, it was a special atmosphere but it didnt start out that way.

Then stay the frick home. Our fans bitch about everything. Other schools' fans have to deal with the same conditions, yet they turn out in droves. With LSU fans it's always either too hot, too cold, too cloudy, not cloudy enough, to

It'll probably reach its largest capacity with about 10 min left in the 1st quarter and then sharply decline after that

I would venture to guess VERY few people went through the time and hassle to to get to campus for 10:30 before the Florida game just to "wait to see how things were going" before deciding to go into the stadium. If anything, the reason there was a late arriving crowd was because: (1) an 11:00 kick makes it more burdensome for people to arrive on time relative to a night game, especially those coming from outside the metro-BR area, and (2) traffic was more condensed due to several thousand people driving into campus in a relative short window vs. the same amount of people driving into campus over the course of several hours...which is the case for a night game. I was one of those people who missed the first few minutes of the game because I was stuck in traffic. And I wasn't alone.
If fans were "waiting to see how the game was going" they likely would not have entered the stadium. Florida scored first. LSU's first 3 possessions were: punt, fumble, punt. LSU didn't score until early in the 2nd quarter. Not exactly a confidence inspiring start.
I suspect it will be a much different story on Saturday. First, there will be significantly more Tennessee fans at the game than Florida fans. Perhaps 5x as many. Second, LSU was 3-3 coming off an embarrassing blowout loss to Kentucky. Apathy in the program had set in at a level not seen since 1999. That is not the case going into this game. Tennessee is the first top 10 opponent (not named Alabama) coming into Tiger Stadium since 2019. But more than that, LSU is 4-1 with a fanbase believing the program is on the ascent.
You will have some late arriving people for the same reasons implicit in any 11:00 am game. But I'm expecting the crowd to be much more like Georgia in 2018 than Florida last season.

The story will be exactly the same...it will not be full at kickoff. It will look much different at the end of the first quarter than it did at kickoff. If the game is close in the 4th quarter it will be even more full than it was in the 1st. This isn't anything new.
