The Government of Alberta has sent instructions to the RCMP K-Division, the arm of the federal police force with authority in Alberta, to ignore direct orders from the federal Trudeau Government.

“Alberta is not legally obligated and will not offer any provincial resources to the Federal Government as it seeks to confiscate lawfully acquired firearms,”

On Thursday, Manitoba Justice Minister Kelvin Goertzen said he told Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino the so-called buyback program unnecessarily targets lawful gun owners while having little impact on criminals.

The Saskatchewan government is trying to put its foot down when it comes to guns.

According to the province’s chief firearms officer, Robert Freberg,
the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety sent a letter to the RCMP on Tuesday indicating the province supports anti-crime initiatives that focus on the issues related to the criminal use of firearms and that prevent gang violence and address illegal or smuggled guns.
“However, we do not support initiatives that will impact law-abiding, RCMP-vetted hunters, sport shooters, ranchers, farmers and others who use firearms for lawful and good purposes,” Freberg told Gormley on Wednesday.
Therefore, Freberg said the provincial government has decided it won’t allow the use of provincial funds to administer and enforce the buyback program, which Freberg called a confiscation program.
People are watching.

Anybody who cant see this is blind. So then the next question you should be asking is why are they targeting lawful gun owners? keep in mind this is the same government that froze people's bank accounts for protesting their overreach.

Can we trade the Northeastern states for Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta?

The world hasn't forgotten what the authoritarian Aussie government did to its subjects.

The Prairie Provinces are beautiful and closer to Montana/Idaho/Dakotas than West Coast/East Coast liberals.

Sounds like those provinces should turn in their guns and leave the others alone.

Russia should have invaded Canada. They would have been welcomed as liberators like they thought was gonna happen in Ukraine.

All they care about in BC is that the pot keeps growing.

Don't get carried away. They can and will jail you for saying something that hurts someone's fee-fees, and I believe gun possession is at the permission of the government already. They certainly don't have a Second Amendment.

Why the downvote? I never said redneck was a bad thing? My neighbor is a good ole baw.
Feeling insecure or something?
