What self respecting adult considers a kid's park their favorite place?

Excellent Troll post. Well thought out. Not too long to make it obvious but enough info to make a few people believe it. About a 7.9 on the Troll Posting Scoreboard.

Yeah, tell her a lot of people are having a pretty shitty 24 hours down there and maybe it's in your best interest to not drag a four year old down there right now. Reschedule for February or something.

In all seriousness, we were set to leave tomorrow too and decided to cancel. We got full refunds for everything, flight, hotel, tickets, hell even the stroller rental.

I have full confidence that Disney itself will resume operation by Saturday, but it was everything in the surrounding areas I didn’t want to deal with.

Potential flight delays, rental car snafus, downed trees/traffic, unpredictability of what is and isn’t going to be operational in the parks, etc, etc…

We just parlayed the same cash back into going to Disneyland instead over the same time period. The weathers nice, you can walk from the hotel to the parks, and the kids haven’t been there yet, so we decided to just go with it.

TWC just said Kissimmee announced a curfew due to flooding. Not sure if that includes Disney, but I doubt they open tomorrow.

Don’t shoot the messenger but my wife is really on my arse about this trip. She’s been planning it for months and seriously concerned that The Mouse is going to be closed. Even if it’s open but not running at full tilt she’ll be pissed. We paid good money for the full Disney experience. We are trying to leave tomorrow Night for a Saturday AM check in.. has anyone heard anything about them being closed through the weekend? We have not heard anything from the resort so assuming all systems are a go. We have been gassed up to take our 4 year old son to our favorite place and will be really disappointed if it falls through.

Get your refund and take your kid to the mountains. You can rent some Disney character to come visit for cheaper

If it’s open, it should be small crowds. Which might make it the best time ever to be there.

First mistake. Never take kids under the age of 5 (or really, 6) to Disney and the like. Simply not worth it.
