Statistically they are and their teams keep on winning. Jaguars-Dolphins AFC Championship book it.

Statistically, yes through three games. Small sample size.

If you ask who would be chosen in 1 must win game, in no particular order:

Definites:
Brady (even at his age)
Rodgers
Allen (Yes, the fins just beat Buffalo, but to argue Tua > Allen due to one game in September is insane)
Mahomes

Probablies:
Wilson
Burrow
Hebert

I’d put them in the top half of the QBs in the league, but not top five until they show something in December and January.

In the first 3 games, they are top 5 AFC quarterbacks.

I'd take out Russell and put in Lamar.

The list of the bottom 5 QBs is probably more interesting. I'll go with Fields, Trubisky, Mills, Mayfield as sure things.

Wentz, Ryan, and Danny Dimes knocking on the cellar door.

I'm not counting guys playing bc of injury or suspension (Flacco, Brissett, Rush). But Zach Wilson will be bottom 5 the first game he steps back on the field.

Lawrence looks better than Tua. Tua is what he was at Bama, which is if you surround him with super elite speedsters and a simple offense he’s pretty good at hitting them on time on slants and deep balls.

Kudos to the dolphins and eagles, who have built their pretty perfect offenses in terms of personnel and scheme for Tua and hurts to succeed. I think on the majority of nfl teams both guys would struggle to look like starter quality,

Both are benefiting from a new and competent coaching staff.

Tua had only started about 20 games his first two seasons, and Trevor started all 17 games in his rookie year. They are at the point when many good QBs take that next step in their development.

Three games is a small sample size, but there is a lot to like about both QBs and their development.

I would take out Mills and put Ryan and Jones in the bottom 5. Ryan has seven fumbles and five interceptions this year. He's not a good QB anymore. And even though the Giants have won their first two games this season, I just don't think Jones is any good.

And just how did Lawrence look with Urban Meyer at the controls? Isn't it amazing how these young bucks look with quality coaching leading the way? Why, it's almost like it really matters.

Max Jones was on his way to the Mount Rushmore of QBs last year at one point. Until a QB has two full seasons worth of success it’s too early to decide anything.

Burrow needs this season for validation just like Allen needed last season to prove 2020 wasn’t a fluke

Tua and hurts and Lawrence have a ways to go just to prove this season is legit With new systems, wait til film is out for 6-8 games and then see if they can continue

Hurts is in his second year with the current staff, and they added a WR1.

I think Lawrence is at the start of a breakout. He doesn't have incompetent coaching holding him back any more. He is in his second year. He has a decent group of weapons to give the ball too, but I still think he needs an alpha WR1. The talent was always there.

The dolphins only ran about 50 plays and Tua leads the NFL in YPA.

People obviously didn’t watch the game.

The Bills had the PERFECT gameplan in that game and still managed to lose.

Dolphins only got about 5 offensive possessions the entire game.

39 plays

Bills dominated that football game more than any I have ever seen for a losing team

8. And they punted on 5 of 8

With Hill and Waddle? And with a third of the season so far being a game where they had to throw almost every play in order to come back? You're kidding

Hill and Waddle are 2nd and 3rd in the league in YAC yardage as well
