quote:

Joe Burrow should focus solely on football right now. He can be a runway model and uninformed political pundit in his 40s. Now is the time to be a great quarterback.”

Spot on!

there is no in between with jason whitlock - he's either spot on or extremely off base and probably a 30/70 split in that.

Criminally bad take on Burrow. Putting something out that ridiculous should be fireable offense.

Hate to admit it but Whitlock's right about Burrow. I sensed his desire to push the envelope on social issues a few years ago and simply wrote it off as a young qb trying to find acceptance from his peers on the football field.
But the arrogance that his opinion should be amplified and folks should follow his cue is going to eat him up with his followers and fans.
Take Jason's advice Joe...stay in your lane!

That article doesn’t get written if the Bengals start 2-0. Joe could do himself a favor and stay out of politics fwiw, it’s too toxic these days.

He’s correct. Joe needs some guidance in PR and focus.

Burrow fans aren’t going to like it but he’s spot on. I thought the same thing when he showed up to the super dressed like a pimp then played like arse. He shouldn’t spent all those hours he put into that ridiculous getup into preparing for the game instead. He has time to turn it around.

Poor comparison as far as football player, but he's right about staying out of politics. Why you would want to piss off people on either side based on your political take is beyond me. Just stay away from it.

I loved Burrow from day 1 at LSU but this article is pretty spot on when it comes to Burrow's current form.

I say this is “criminally bad take” because this post insinuates Burrows performances this year somehow correlates to his political views. Thats what’s asinine! Has Burrow had a rough start this year? Yes! Does anyone really believe his “woke opinions” are the cause? If so, that’s absurd. The kids has been sacked 13 times in 2 games, and is on pace to be sacked 100+ times this year (barring he doesn’t get killed first) Anyone with half a brain knows offensive play calling, along with piss poor O line play have been main factors on the rough start for Burrow.

So no one is talking about his terrible offensive line? his issue is all related to off field stuff?

Joe Burrow was a top 5 qb last year that brought his team to the SB. His takes weren't any different then than they were now.

What the frick has Jason Whitlock ever been top 5 in? Mashed potatoes eaten at the buffet? Prisoner of the moment bullshite like this is pathetic.

I love those on here that are ready to pile on Joe bc he said “they need to get rid of the crazy guns”. Most agreeing have never hunted and watch Newsmax while jerking off to gay porn. Fricking sick in the mind. Now Joe is Equal to Kap smh

Promise you this is Joe wore a Maga hat and mentioned how we need to secure the border, the idiots on this board would cream in their jeans over him. That would not be political bc they agree with it. To say the little he’s done is virtue signaling is laughable.
Joe’s problem is his shitty line and his and his OC’s is lack of insight that he needs to get rid of the fricking ball fast.

Burrow is woke. It's really not up for debate.
