Arkansas will get to vote on Recreational MJ in November. It's official.

The petitions were submitted, and procedures followed, but there was some frickery by the election commission.

The Arkansas Supreme Court ruled that the ballot initiative met the legal standard, so we get to vote on it afterall.

Hooray

We need mail in voting with no signature verification just this one time.

Yeah I remember when everyone was so excited here in Colorado that weed got legalized and all the grows popped up from counties wanting money. Now it's a s**t show. Things this county never experienced hardly at all have sky rocketed. Theft and even murder has risen and squatters like crazy. The rift raft is ruining land values nothing but trash and sh**ting in buckets not following any county laws. Just going to be honest Marijuana was more fun when it was illegal than legal. Now it just comes with a lot of baggage.

The problem being on Nov ballot is most who want it vote left so it hurts R candidates due to so many coming out to vote MJ. The left will use it to rally voters.

In OK we did same thing but they missed deadline by a skosh to meet Nov ballot but it will be on ballot in 23. Good thing it means leess lefties voting in Nov yet will pass later when it won’t hurt R’s.

Watch what happens in Arky this Nov, some D’s will win that normally would not.

Good for y’all. Hope this passes. There’s no reason why it should be illegal anywhere anymore. There are far worse things out there. This shithole of a state will never get out of 1970.

As much as I like the concept of leaving people alone to smoke mj if they choose, the smell wafting over the French quarter or downtown Denver or you name it place that used to be cool is absolutely disgusting

Get ready for the mafia & the drug cartels to start running the show in Arky.

You are gonna have stoners walking around all day in a daze.

Bums & hobos crapping on the sidewalks, begging & stealing money to get a bag of weed.

There's an old saying, 'Be careful what you wish for'

The ballot initiative will probably pass, the stoners will be able to get their wacky-weed but their is gonna be a huge crap-storm coming for the Arky's.

States legalizing it is great but need federal. Corporations will still classify it as a drug and not accept medical marijuana prescription until federal legalizes it.

Whether the people voted for MMJ or not, the Louisiana MMJ system is a bonafied racket. Prices extremely high and some folks including politicians are making out like bandits.

That said, the dispensary in Lake Charles does a good job other than the pricing. No armed guards or any security issues.

If the Southern Baptists (of which I am one) and other holy roller tribes would mind their own business, this issue would resolve itself.

I look forward to visiting Arkansas often, hopefully in the near future….

Louisiana legislature too busy fretting over making sure that 90 year olds can't have abortions.

All politicians should be pushing it. It would be a new revenue stream they could piss away.
