Is Linsaey Graham better than we think ?

Just listened to an interview on the Clay & Buck show with JD Vance. He bought up the fact that some republicans are proposing a 100% National ban on abortion. His reasoning was that some folks are doing this to provoke a reaction from the leftists, more/less, baiting them into a pro-life debate to openly exhibit the evil that they represent.
I'll admit, I never thought of it that way, so, I'll give LG the benefit of the doubt for now, and go on the assumption that he's playing a level of chess that I hadn't considered.

Anyone proposing a federal ban on abortion did not read the opinion of the USSC when it overturned Roe v Wade. The federal government has no authority to be involved in this issue one way or the other. The federal government has only the authority granted to it under the constitution -- all other rights and powers are reserved to the states

He says some things I like and he says some things I don’t like. Maybe he’s trying to ride the fence because he knows his voter base is on both sides.

He’s an extreme wild card. He’s done some great things when needed but also a lot of head scratchers.

If that’s the goal, then Graham is a dunce and doesn’t get it.
The media will carry the left’s water. It doesn’t matter what the public actually thinks. The passionate minority will always be loudest, and on this issue at this time that’s the pro choice crowd.
The only places in the country where this type of thing benefits Republican candidates are places that are already deep red.

Agreed upon 100%. My personal stance is that it should be 100% illegal, and if it's not, it's a State issue, not a Federal one.
Don't shoot the messenger.....I was just thinking out loud after hearing JD's take on it.

Lindsay Graham is hoping the GOP does not win the senate in November. Senate establishment GOP HATES governing. They however love riding the coattails of Democrat Party grift.

LG with his 15 week bill is essentially codifying abortion for the entire country. Roe V Wade was wrong in that it ruled over the states wishes. This will also rule over the states wishes if they chose to pass a ban or whatever kind of bill they wanted.
He is also doing this knowing it wouldn't pass and doing it right before an election. Nobody would be happy with this bill on the right or left.
