I'm not an OL guru, but C Charles Turner has looked good to me so far

His snaps have been good and he seems to be holding his own in pass blocking

I'd like to hear from some of you who know more about OL play than I do. How has he looked to you? Is he the answer at C going forward?

TIA

Kelly wanted to kill him after than false start where he slapped the opposing guard.

T-Bob and Hester were praising him yesterday. Apparently he has looked really good so far, which if I'm being honest is quite surprising. Just need to get the illegal procedure stuff down.

I played OL in high school granted that not the best indicator of evaluating OL on a college level, but he seems to have the group more cohesive and communicating better which is more of a centers responsibility. He is not getting obviously beat like Shanahan was and his snap is consistent and good which is most important

Outside of picking up 3 false starts yeah he's looked much better than I thought. Still wondering how he'll do against the upcoming interior Dline guys we'll be facing in the SEC, as thats always I think what has held him back (opposing SEC interior Dlinemen).

Hard to take anything from the Southern game, but in the MSU game he held his own for sure.

I was listening to a podcast today and apparently Charles is one of the main leaders of the room. He's the one that gets everyone into place and they all take notice when he speaks.

He’s looked way ahead of schedule.

My biggest take away is his ownership of the position. He’s dialing in so to speak.

This was the single biggest mistake Kelly made heading into game 1. It cost us the game.

Makes me wonder what changed and why he didn’t get the nod from the start. He looks much better and more comfortable than Dellinger.
