Would not use Flatiron to put in a drainage culvert, they built the bridge in Florida that collapsed and killed some folks in Florida a few years ago and now they are in the middle of a lawsuit with the State of Texas on the new Harbor Bridge in Corpus that has been going on for about 10 years now. Project has been shut down numerous times due to faulty design and workmanship, it is 5 years behind schedule and hundreds of millions over budget. Bridge construction is currently on hold and the lawsuits are piling up.

Thanks for the update. I wasn't aware. They built the Audubon bridge between St Francisville and New Roads.

Anyone seen any overhead images of Sanibel island yet?

NBC 2 Fort Myers had some video and images on their live feed earlier. Boats piled on top of each other at marinas, missing sections of the causeway, some destroyed houses and recreational vehicles flipped, flooded streets & houses, etc.

And if you decide to take the P1, you now are bringing no luggage or personal belongings with you. SO you don't take the P!, you take the Escalade and hope for the best with the P1.

There is a video of him inside his own home showing the cars floating in his garage. (The Mclaren and Rolls Royce)

Can’t imagine having evacuated and then seeing your house on fire on the news with no one being able to do anything about it.

We evacuated to Houston for Katrina. In a hotel room with my wife and kids and mother and father in law. Father in law had a place in Diamondhead, Mississippi. Watching a national news broadcast and they showed the the canal or back bay where his place was located and there were only bare lots. 15 or so houses, including his, were decimated.

Yeah I think he said it was based off all the calls they got to 911

Read something on twitter where one woman that rode out the storm called them to report an elderly woman’s body had floated into their yard. 911 had to tell her to leave body out there cause not safe enough for anyone to get out there yet.
