3. Small trash cans. Every room has a trash can. Every bathroom has a baby trashcan. If you're putting crap wipes or other waste, why would you want to put it in such a small trash can where you could possibly touch other trash when you're putting in new trash?
You’ve clearly never lived with a woman. I don’t have a trash can in every room, but I damned sure have one in every bathroom. Your plumbing wouldn’t be happy with the alternative. And you really don’t want to go more than a week without changing it out

I filled up half a 20 yard dumpster yesterday with random crap I haven’t used or seen in years. Today I fill the other half

2. Oil filter pliers. How I have acquired three of these I have no idea. Much less know why I have a pair in my kitchen.
I think my wife thinks they're a jar opener.

The amount of random keys, or even rings of keys that appear in my home is truly astounding. I think someone is breaking in and leaving sets of keys. I know they can’t be mine…but I’m too afraid to throw them out.

Antibacterial soaps are no more effective than plain soap and water for killing disease-causing germs outside of health care settings. There is no evidence that antibacterial soaps are more effective than plain soap for preventing infection under most circumstances in the home or in public places. Therefore, plain soap is recommended in public, non-health care settings and in the home (unless otherwise instructed by your doctor).
Anti bacterial soap is a fraud.

You only have 3 set of oil filter wrenches because you have forearms of a female.
