I’m up 8%

On Biden’s inauguration day, I reallocated my 401K to nearly all of my company stock. The healthcare & insurance sectors have done well.

Look at how UnitedHealth, Anthem, Cigna, Humana, etc. have performed.

Edit: as of this morning, I’m up 8.55% for the year.

Roughly 15% I hope the midterms go as needed for taxpayers.

I haven't sold anything so dunno. This is buying season gentleman. Anyone gainfully employed complaining about it under 50 is an idiot.

Well this sucks. I had gone a while without checking. I knew it was bad but damn.

I’m a shade over 17% down.

Basically even.
Lots of energy and mining investments.
Lots of dividends to offset slight share price drop.

Will you still be saying this realizing we're likely headed to a double whammy of a recession combined with the Fed raising interest rates?

To the OP's point, 401ks are down and inflation has reduced their value. Such a mess.
