Consolidation of the universities in LA is needed. Less than the population of Houston and 3x the number of universities.
Too much graft and waste.

That sounds like a pretty cool thing. But I'm pretty sure tOT will find a way to complain about this.
Auburn does something similar with Tuskegee. It’s usually a good thing with schools that are near each other.

I would say the bottom line is that LSU will financially help out Southern. but it will be well-hidden.
Where does LSU get that $$ from?

With this have an impact on football? If not, who cares? Education, as it is in the US, is a scam anyway. I really could have learned my skills at a technical school and not have to take a bull shite electives.
The way 4 year institutions work really is bullshite. There are several majors that you absolutely have to go to school for, but overall its a pretty fricked up system.

As long as Southern contributes in effort and in dollars equally and not some in political equity crap or southern getting paid like with football game.

Southern as well as a handful of others in the state need their doors closed for good. Too much of a financial burden.

All HBCU's should be merged or closed. If they can't get into the flagship/research universities, there's community colleges they can go to.
