Those short crossing routes will be a huge challenge to our inexperienced LB's.

OP is talking shite and Vegas had them favored. He’s the same idiot saying we beat FSU and UCLA by 3 touchdowns

I'm extremely concerned about States intermediate passing game and our linebackers.

If the o-line doesn’t improve from what we’ve seen the last couple of weeks, I see no reason to be optimistic about our chances in that one. They’re going to score. The O-line needs to show up so we can score with them.

Same was true for FSU.

Mike Leach
Linebackers

Is our offense in position to win a high scoring shootout? I see another game like FSU where the defense can't get off the field and gives up endless 3rd downs.

If our LB's don't step up, Rogers is gonna kill us with those crossing patterns across the middle. Much the same as they did two years ago.

Pass rushers are much better than two years ago. And JD is more mobile. I think we win by TD

Have you seen our OL? Southern was getting pressure. SEC teams will destroy us
I'm not sold on Turner in the middle but if he is making correct calls like CBK says then it's a step up.
I'm still wondering what's up with Shorts. If he could nail down LG that frees up Delly (Martinez?) to bring more physicality to Center. Looks like the Coaches consider the correct first blocking call more important than having the beef through the middle. I'm certainly not going to argue with them.
Just really hoping to be surprised by Turner vs SEC competition.

Because we lost to Florida State. Nobody can say this LSU team is better than MSU right now when we lost to a bad football team. The holes are glaring and were still there in Southern like the atrocious oline, lack of run game, and an offensive scheme that's not very creative currently. Still not sold on this defense either. Don't know what we really have there yet.

Will be a good test to see how far along this team has developed since FSU and how BK's coaching has taken them.

LSU is a 3-5 point favorite in at least one Vegas service. Yes Caesar’s has LSU as a one point dog

Some of you guys get way too upset when anyone is critical of LSU. You can still be a fan and think we might lose.

We don’t have more talent than any team in the SEC excluding Vandy and USCe. This roster was depleted. We have talent in spots but not across both units.

They are much more experienced team, the most experienced in the SEC, I think. The have a great experienced QB, with the genius coach who is known as a zone shredder and apparently we are going to try to run a soft zone defense. Maybe we can out score them

The line has E-X-P-A-N-D-E-D to Miss St (-3.0).

Honestly I think it should by pick'em. Miss St has really looked impressive the first two games, but we don't really know how good their opposition has been.

uh, their QB, Will Rogers has almost 800 yds on 80% passing, and only 3 sacks so far this year. This will be similar to the FSU game, with LSU playing catch up all night
