Define fits. He finished with 51% completion percentage and a 1/3 ratio. 23.1 QBR. As bad as Nuss looked last night, he finished with a 18.9. Not that far off between the two.

Did you read what I actually said? I never said he was a good QB or even played well. State couldn’t get him on the ground and he broke contain on them several times.

HIs downfall was that he was unwilling to take off and run when huge lanes were open after escaping the rush. He kept chucking the ball downfield after running and threw two picks and several very inaccurate passes.

We all know Daniels will take off and pick up yards in these situations. Unless State dials back their aggressiveness, which Arnett isn’t known for, expect Daniels to have opportunities to escape the pocket and hurt them with his legs.

The point of the thread was to discuss how LSU was going to beat Miss St being that they’re a bad matchup.

We’ll start with that history you want to forget and start with the assumption that Moo State is gonna Moo State.

313 yards and 4 TD. And a couple crucial drops by his WRs would have added to those numbers and the final score.

He also threw a pick, had two sacks, and was under pressure a good bit. He threw a second pick right to a CB in the end zone, but his toe touched the line. I forgot they had overturned that one. Their WRs also had 2 lost fumbles that kept Arizona in the game.

And this was against a team that won 1 game last year. I expected them to steamroll Zone worse than Memphis, but that didn’t happen. They are a good football team, but I think LSU has a better chance against them than I did before watching them last night.

I seem to remember a pretty dominant record this century against Moo State in Tiger stadium, so I’m good with the history.

Recent history is not as good. 2-2 in Baton Rouge since 2014. This will be a tougher game than you think if you believe it will be like the early 2000s.

Daniels is LSU’s only hope. This is States best team under Leach and a bad matchup for LSU. Pickering and Wheat on their Dline are going to be a problem.

This is true, it will fall on him. The good thing is that their aggressive style will give him opportunities to make big plays.

Every time people jump on the Mike Leach Bandwagon, he proves to you why he will never be an elite coach.

Every. Single. Time.

Rodgers is there qb. He isn’t sniffing 5k and 50 tds.

He had 4700+ yards last year. It's not inconceivable that he could hit 5000 or get close. He has 9 TDs through 2 games, but the competition will get stiffer. He has completed 38 passes in each of his first two games and is completing about 78% of his passes through 2 games. He completed 73% of his passes last year. He is very good in that system.

He is not mobile, so LSU's D-line needs to live up to the billing and get to him causing some fumbles and interceptions. LSU's linebackers need to show up and show out too.

It’s Miss State. LSU should never go into a game against them thinking we should lose.
