Political posturing is what this is by the left. They know damn well that as a matter of procedure the judge can appoint one if she so chooses and she did. So it takes longer. If they feel they have anything actionable this changes nothing.
Trump at the worst, gets to forestall any potential indictments. The FBI will claim that their " clean teams " function in the same manner. But of course, they ,being the government, would have a conflict of interest.

"Guilty" of "obstruction," in the criminal sense? Of course not. That's a ridiculous thing for someone to say. She may have made mistakes in her ruling. If so, they will be corrected by the court of appeal. But criminal obstruction? That is ridiculous.

It will get to the SCOTUS if the idiot DemCommies keep up the charade. And when it does, and the court rules in Trumps favor (which they will) rock solid grounds will be laid for a newly Red House to impeach Dementia Joe.

It’s unreal the way they process information. The raid is Nixonian on its face. They violated the scope of the warrant, took medical records, tax records, passports… they searched the kid’s bedroom and the wife’s clothing. They immediately began leaking lies to the press illegally.
But the judge who sees this and aims to remedy these problems with a Special Master is the one “obstructing justice”?
