There’s literally no reason to keep playing DJ.
Are they hoping he someone has a magical season and goes pro?
He’s not going to keep Klubnik on the bench next year (bc Klubnik will leave if so) so what’s the point of not pulling the plug now?

He looked good when he played in his freshman year, but now hes terrible. He lost weight, so hes working together better, but its not happening.

Dabo's got games against Furman and Ruston Tech coming up and he'd be an idiot to not give Klubnik time with the 1's in the first halves to make a decision going into the Wake game. Klubnik looked so smooth out there tonight compared with clunky DJ even though DJ played pretty well for him.

I'm watching Zach Smith's show on YouTube and he's saying the opposite. He says he watched the game last night and DJ can play. He says DJ is in an incompetent offense. He just said Ohio State should go after DJ because he will be developed there.

DJ is not seeing the field. He's not throwing on time. Dabo not wanting to throw the better QB into the mix right now is going to leave Clemson in a mess again. This is not the #4 team. Why this wasn't abundantly clear last season is strange.

I'll take Zach Smith's opinion. Zach also said the FSU OC is one of the best in college football and he's called out consistently the Brian Kelly hire along with his coordinators.

Trevor Lawrence even regressed at Clemson. So, I do think something is wrong with the QB development at Clemson in recent years.

they won by 31 on the road and covered the spread while everyone on the planet thinks they looked like shite.
i dont really disagree that they weren't great, but with all of that information, maybe they very much ARE the #4 team and just have a couple things to work out.

You could make that assumption as a football fan if the 2021 season wasn't also staring you directly in the face. Hell of a sample size at this point.
And of all people, you must realize it's playoff or bust for Clemson. That's the measuring tape for this football program.
