We can all talk about Boutte’s body language last night but don’t forget about Brian Kelly

The whole game he had an lol of concern and never looked confident. That was not what I wanted to see from my head coach. He was either wide eyed or had a I shite my pants look.

Maybe that's just the way he looks

He was obviously pissed off dude. I’d rather him noticeably upset than just sitting there clapping all game

I kept thinking he looked like he was sick. Even from the start, he just didn't look good. Like he hadn't slept in a week.

Maybe he knows the extent of the talent he inherited from Ogre and knows he has a rebuild ahead of him.

After seeing how the offensive line played last night, he prob hadn’t slept in a week.

Everyone keeps saying this but I saw a different Kelly. I saw him cursing out the officials, gathering the team together in between plays, and observing what was going on. This board, it seems, chooses to see him observing his team in action as him being clueless. The last two coaches we had would just sit there clapping after turnovers and patting them on their arse. I'd take Kelly, even though we got embarrassed last night.

Jamar Chase inflated Boutte’ ego because he opted out and still was drafted high and dominated in his first year.

He has talent but the attitude he is showing will drop his stock considerably.

IMO you could easily tell that FSU had already played a game. A lot of intangibles are so different by playing a game and just coming off practice. FSU deserved to win but give Daniela credit for even keeping LSU in the game.

I didn't know what to expect - so I am surprised at how disappointed I am. But I do know I was looking forward to the season being entertained and hopeful.

That was a miserable experience last night. It was not fun to watch and gave no reasons for hope.

He’s a head coach who sets the plan, sets the tone and forces adjustments… he was late on adjustments last night but his tone is and always has been less emotion based unless truly warranted.. he doesn’t really sugar coat things and wants to force accountability..

He’s proven that he knows how to win.. he’s not an innovator and I personally believe his style is at times to conservative but his results with his teams talent level is proven fact

You’re right, he should have run around screaming at players and assistant coaches all game. That’s how you show everyone that you care. Ask Saban.

He was also all over the situation at the end of the game. You could read his lips as he was explaining that the ball needed to be snapped on the whistle. A complete understanding of the rule there. That was a relief to watch compared to what we have had in the past.
