Kelly gave us clues about Boutte

Every time Kelly was asked about Boutte during the off season, he was very measured with his responses and gave the impression that Boutte was not engaged at all with the team, wasn’t buying in, etc… That was clearly the case last night. Will be interesting to see if that changes or if he is already checked out completely.

If he isn’t bought in at this point kick him off the team. This season isn’t about wins and losses. It’s about establishing the process and any player that isn’t on board can leave.

He did not have any time to make a read. The line of scrimmage was collapsing before he could even make his second read.
