Yankees 3 up in loss column on Tampa with three games upcoming between the two in New York. Yankees lineup completely depleted and Cole and Cortes not throwing any of the games.

Recipe for disaster.

He’ll be hitting for the Yanks soon enough

And they’ll get him for a discount

He and Boras will make it back in marketing and merchandise

Yankees have been hitting better, just couldn't get a clutch hit tonight. Torres kinda got screwed at the end

Watching the White Sox - A’s. Pretty big series for the Pale Hose.

Man the A’s are just sad. 14-0 in the 6th. There are legit probably under 3K fans at the stadium lol. Team needs to move to Vegas asap.

Wainwright and the bullpen wasn't sharp. But we did get to see Molina go yard twice.

If they are this bad, won't they draw just as terrible in Las Vegas?

What shitty rule changes.

Limit on the number of pickoff attempts? Getting rid of the shift?

You want to cut down on game times, cut out some of the useless commercial time.

I hate the shift, and don't care if they get rid of it, but limiting pickoff attempts is a horrible idea. Can you imagine the leads runners will get, knowing a pitcher has passed his limit of pickoff attempts in an at bat? How can anyone on the rules committee not think about this?

Surely, that one won't make it in. If they vote yes on that, they're totally clueless.

I see Ohtani and Altuve each over 1.5 total bases +475 on 9/9. Solid bet??

I doubt these rule changes will improve viewership. It will always be a slow paced game. It will probably happen anyway, but I wish the networks wouldn't put the pitch clock on the scorebar. It's not something I will want to see on the screen when watching a game. I also hope the pitch clocks aren't right behind home plate at all the stadiums.

Major news: Rob Manfred said MLB notified the MLBPA today that MLB is prepared to voluntarily recognize the minor league players’ union

In talking to MLB officials after the press conference, MLB is willing to voluntarily recognize the minor league union pending reaching a card check agreement. They haven’t technically reached that agreement yet, are in talks. But MLB is not intending to force an election.

Yankees are giving Cabrera reps at 1B, I'm assuming Rizzo is going to be out awhile

Holy shite Aaron Hicks, K’d with first and second to finish the 3rd, two outs in the top of the fourth he’s tracking a ball near the foul line it’s all the way in his glove and pops out and he pouts and allows two runs to score because it was ruled a fair ball

LMFAO next ball he takes a terrible route on and can’t make the play. My god

Twitter LINK of Jung bomb

It was served up. He cranked it. We don’t have guys that consistently punish bad pitches. If he can do this it would be big.
