We're heading up Thursday. Which is perfect timing since #50 will be on the mound.

I'm glad some of the kids are actually getting a chance but this lineup is horrible... walk Judge and throw a no-hitter

Everyone is actually pitching to him, which is why I think 70 is a strong possibility. Couple that with allowing young guys to pitch to him, means more mistakes, means more pitches to hit. I am surprised that he has not yet received the Bonds treatment; Bonds had 476 at-bats when he hit the 73; Judge is already at 486.

Well for one, Yankees are losing most games and playing from behind. Secondly when he comes up because the lineup is trash no one is on base so it's mostly solo shots while losing. Thirdly a lot has changed with analytics in the way they pitched to Bonds. He also had a better eye than Judge which gave him some favorable counts where they would eventually just walk him

That's true, up 3-0 with no one on, I'm gonna pitch to Judge. I'd almost rather give up a solo shot, then have baserunners. 62 is automatic; this was known back in June. September's schedule is MUCH easier than August, and like today, young pitchers will get a chance. Judge is going to have 580 at-bats, which is 100 more than Bonds had in 2001.

That said, the Astros pitched to him with runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out, game tied. The Jays pitched to him with two on, one out; the Twins pitched to him last game with one on, despite the awful lineup behind him. And pitchers love to throw FB's to him (he's the best FB hitter, possibly ever). I still think he gets close to 70, unless Boone shuts him down late (no point in playing him if the Yankees have nothing to gain/lose).

Yankees should have won, umpires missed an obvious balk on Duran

Peraza is 3/4 and Cabrera had the OF assist. He has 7 DRS and was just called up on August 17th
